Government Project Delivery wins two awards for website excellence

Government Project Delivery is proud to announce that it has been honoured at two prestigious digital media industry awards this month for the Government Project Delivery Hub.

These awards are:

• The Digital Impact Awards (Europe), winning bronze for creativity, strategic vision and ability to harness the power of digital to engage audiences, connect workforces and communicate crucial information.
• The Web Excellence Awards (International), winning the e-Government category, for excellence in showcasing commitment to innovation and superior performance in the digital space

Both the Digital Impact Awards and the Web Excellence Awards provide a platform to acknowledge and promote excellence in web development and digital innovation and this year saw an impressive array of talent from across Europe and around the world. Other winners at the Digital Impact Awards included PwC in the use of digital from the professional services sector, EE (BT Group) for digital accessibility and Electronic Arts for the use of existing social media platforms. At the Web Excellence Awards winners included the NATO Innovation Fund for the digital implementation of their identity, The Center for Arts in the United States of America for how they present live events and performances online, and Too Good To Go for performance improvements in their website.

The Hub was launched in May 2022 as the digital centre for project delivery. Since its launch, its goals have expanded significantly. Now, with approximately 12,000 users, it serves as the primary location for accessing all government project delivery services, resources, and community engagement.

The Hub team has put in significant effort to develop a more user-friendly platform that caters to the needs of project delivery professionals in government and the broader public sector. This new approach makes it easier to access the information they require, thanks to innovative indexing across an extensive library of enhanced content.
