Synopsis

The ‘Welcome to Project delivery fast stream 2026’ provides an introduction for the 2026 cohort of project delivery fast Streamers to the departments, arm length bodies and devolved governments they may work in throughout the scheme.

The ‘Welcome to Project delivery fast stream 2026’ provides an introduction for the 2026 cohort of project delivery fast streamers to the:

  • departments, arm length bodies and devolved governments they may work in throughout the scheme
  • the project delivery emerging talent team

Representatives of government organisations will showcase the types of roles available on their portfolios, programmes and projects for the 2026 host of project delivery fast streamer by delivering a 12 minute presentation from organisations such as:

  • Cabinet Office
  • Crown Commercial Service
  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
  • Department for Energy, Security and Net Zero
  • Department for Education
  • Department for Science, Innovation and Technology
  • Department for Transport
  • Department for Work and Pensions
  • HM Revenue and Customs
  • Home Office
  • Ministry of Defence
  • Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
  • Ministry of Justice
  • Scottish Government
  • Social Security Scotland
  • UK Health Security Agency

Representatives are typically the Head of Profession (or Deputy Head of Profession), along with a current project delivery fast streamer.

There is an optional social at an external venue following close.

Registration

Book your place by 5pm on Monday 27 April 2026.

Register using the email address that you received the event invitation, otherwise your booking maybe rejected. If you are rejected, please register again using the correct email address.

Travel

Travel to and from the event will be booked and paid for by Government Project Delivery.

Preferences for dates and times are asked as part of booking your event ticket. There will be an opportunity for socialising and networking after the event, you may want to consider this when selecting the time for your return journey.

Provide the address you will be travelling from.

Travel tickets and details will be shared with you up to a week before the event.

Where you are travelling within the UK or Ireland and believe flying is cheaper than the cost of travelling via a surface route, please apply for a flight. Tickets for your onward travel to/ from the inward and outward airport will be booked. Please provide the outward station near your address to travel to the airport.

Due to restrictions, the following ticket or expenses cannot be provided:

  • buses
  • coaches
  • tube or metro only travel

Where a journey includes tube and network rail, a travelcard will be provided.

Accommodation

To qualify for accommodation you must not live within the M25 or surrounding areas and your journey must be at least 90 minutes each way.

If someone has an exceptional circumstance/ reasonable adjustment who is based inside London / surrounding areas and you believe you need overnight accommodation, please email [email protected] before booking your event ticket to share your situation for approval.

On the day

Access is through the press entrance on Great George Street not 1 Horse guards road.

If coming from Westminster station, the entrance is before Storey’s gate.

If coming from St James’s park, walk up through Great George Street.

You will be met by a member of the team at reception who will scan your ticket and provide you an escorted pass. You will then be taken in groups to the auditorium.

If you already have a Gov pass, please bring this.

If you do not have a Gov pass, please bring UK official identification such as:

  • current valid passport for any country
  • current biometric residence permit for the UK
  • current full or provisional photo card driving licence from the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands
  • birth certificate from the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands (issued within 12 months of birth)

Please arrive for 8:45am.

Members of the project delivery emerging talent team you will meet

Michelle Palin

Graduate and Apprentice Manager National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority

Michelle is an human resources professional who has deep expertise in early careers having worked in this area for more than 20 years. She has been the Head of Project Delivery Fast Stream since 2015, and has also worked in this area in financial services, construction and rail infrastructure.

Tania Pells

Tania Pells

Project Delivery Fast Stream Manager National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority

Tania is the Project Delivery Fast Stream Manager and an experienced project delivery professional. Tania has worked across the public and charity sectors, combining her expertise in project delivery with a strong background in talent and capability development.

Tania’s career includes managing landscape programmes at the Heritage Lottery Fund, delivering environmental and heritage improvements through local and regional projects. Earlier in her career, she worked with business schools to design leadership training, talent management programmes and assessment centres.
