Project delivery professionals no longer need to trawl through pages of unrelated vacancies. The new jobs board on projectdelivery.gov.uk pulls government roles into one place, built specifically for the profession.

More than a filtered job search

The board uses two methods to pull in relevant roles from Civil Service Jobs:

• roles tagged under the Government Project Delivery profession on the recruitment platform
• roles matched by job type and keywords against the Project Delivery Capability Framework

This means roles are less likely to be missed because of inconsistent tagging.

In time, the jobs board will feature roles that never appear on Civil Service Jobs. This includes secondments, temporary posts, and direct role submissions from departments.

Paul Compton, Deputy Director for Capability and Capacity at the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA), said:

How it works

Sign in to projectdelivery.gov.uk and go to the jobs board. Only signed-in users can see internally advertised roles. If you are not signed in, you will only see roles open to external applicants.

The board refreshes every night, so new roles appear within a day of posting.

Growing over time

Our ambition is for the jobs board to include relevant roles from across the wider public sector, including agencies, delivery bodies and partner organisations. The more organisations that submit roles, the more useful it becomes for everyone looking for their next role.

If you work for an organisation outside central government and have a relevant role to share, you can submit it directly using this form.

Role missing from the board?

Send the Civil Service Jobs URL to the team and they’ll add it.

Not on Civil Service jobs at all?
