Use a permissions block when:
- content is only available to signed-in users
- when a page or section is only available to users with a specific role assigned to their profile
Pattern
Use this pattern when content or functionality is restricted to specific users.
Use a permissions block when:
The permissions block is a highlighted box that explains why content isn’t available and provides a way for users to get access or support.
If an user is signed out, and trying to view content that’s for members only, use this content block.
This is for Government Project Delivery website members only.
If a user is signed in but trying to view content they don’t have permission for, use this content block. This happens when users haven’t been assigned a specific role by a website administrator. An example is the Fast Stream area, which gives fast streamers specific content based on their cohort that wouldn’t be suitable to share with all members.
If you think you should have access, contact member support.
