About AssureAssist
AssureAssist is an AI tool developed to support assurance and project teams review evidence more efficiently and consistently. It supports users and teams across the key phases of an assurance review:
- plan and prepare: gather and explore evidence and identify areas for further investigation.
- conduct the review: assess evidence against review critiera, ask questions, explore risks and confidence levels and collaborate to develop findings.
- report and recommend: develop recommendations and draft the assurance report based on the evidence and findings.
This helps teams spend less time searching through documents and more time focusing on the risks, issues and decisions that matter.
AI outputs generated by AssureAssist should always be reviewed and challenged where appropriate.
How to use AssureAssist
Training and guidance
Training and guidance will be provided to help users use AssureAssist confidently, safely and effectively. Training will be rolled out in line with the GMPP assurance review pipeline, ensuring users receive the support they need before using AssureAssist in a live review.
Training will be tailored to user roles and supported by practical guidance, demonstrations and other self-service resources. Additional support is available to help users refresh their knowledge and get assistance when needed.
Check-ins
Monthly check-in sessions provide users a regular opportunity to share feedback, ask questions and discuss their experiences of using AssureAssist. These sessions will also offer a short introduction for new users and provide updates on service improvements and future developments.

Evaluation and user feedback
AssureAssist user feedback
AssureAssist’s success depends on feedback from the people who use it. After completing an assurance review using AssureAssist, users will be asked to complete a short survey about your experience.
Your feedback will help the team understand:
- how effectively AssureAssist supports assurance reviews
- where users are saving time and effort
- how the user experience can be improved
- which future enhancements would deliver the greatest value.
Feedback from assurance, review and project teams will help shape future improvements to the service and ensure it continues to meet user need.
Training and guidance feedback
Users will also be invited to provide feedback on the training and guidance materials they receive. This feedback will help improve onboarding, user support, training, guidance material, FAQs and other resources available to users. Users will be expected to complete the feedback after completing training.
