The programme and project data standard sets out how programme and project data should be defined, formatted and updated to ensure consistency and quality across government. The standard sets clear requirements for each data entity and attribute, including definitions, formats and update frequencies.

GPD-PN 02/25: Programme and project data standard‘ sets out the expectations for government organisations to prepare implementing the programme and project data standard.

Adoption handbook

The ‘Adopting the programme and data standard‘ handbook provides detailed guidance on meeting the expectations set out in the programme and project data standard.

It covers writing implementation plans and using the standard in everyday work to improve data quality across government.
